The jail ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago at Assumption BVM Parish, 2434 California Ave, Chicago
Kolbe House is a worshiping community comprised of men, women, and children who have been impacted by incarceration. Gathered in prayer and ministry, they give witness to the healing power of God, motivated by the gospel mandate “I was in prison and you visited me.”

Kolbe House is grateful for donations of any of the items listed below to assist them in their ministry. Due to Cook County Jail restrictions, only these items can be accepted. CTA Transit Cards
Transit cards (7-day passes) help individuals and families with transportation to/from work, court and jail visits. Donated passes or checks made payable to SJC or Kolbe House may be dropped off at the Parish Center.
