Career Networking Group Mission Statement
Interfaith Career Network http://www.interfaithcareernetwork.org/ is a fellowship of men and women with a common desire to become employed or seek career advancement through a Christian forum. Our purpose is to prepare and enable individuals to successfully complete their job search by finding meaningful employment in a timely manner. All programs are open to everyone and there are no dues or fees for membership.
Interfaith Career Network is dedicated to providing the following services to all in need: Christian Fellowship and Support, Job Networking Opportunities, Career Skills Presentations, Resume Preparation, and Critique and Interviewing Preparation and Techniques.
St. John of the Cross Parish along with four other interdenominational churches in the LaGrange and Western Springs area committed to assisting area residents in career transition whether they are unemployed, employed or looking to re-enter/enter the workforce.
Business professionals who are knowledgeable about resumes, interviewing, job search, etc. are encouraged to help in this ministry as are employers seeking to hire.
time commitment: The group meets throughout the month on various topics.
