Share Christmas has been a beautiful annual tradition at our parish for over thirty years. Through Share Christmas, generous parishioners have made Christmas special for thousands of individuals who would otherwise not have gift to open or a Christmas Day meal to share with their family.
This year our gifts will be delivered to the following grateful recipients in the Chicago area: St. Blase, Precious Blood community, St. Agatha, and St. Gall as well as families in our own parish community.
Here's how you can help support Share Christmas!
MAKE A MONETARY DONATION, and we will purchase food and gift cards through the parish school Scrip program for you.* Or drop a check (marked Share Christmas) in the mail to the Parish Center, or put your check in the offertory basket in church.
PURCHASE A TOY for a child ages 1-10 years old. Bring the unwrapped toy to the front door of the Parish Center on Sunday, December 6 or Monday, December 7 for curbside drop off between 12:00-7:00pm.
* A Note About the Scrip Program: Scrip cards allow you to raise money for the Parish School by using gift cards to pay for your everyday purchases. The Parish School purchases gift cards through Scrip from hundreds of retailers nationwide at a discount. School families and parishioners can then buy these cards at face value. The difference (or rebate) is the fundraising profit. Scrip gift cards are the same gift cards that you would purchase if you went to the retailer directly.
