Thanks to the generosity of the St. John of the Cross Parish, tuition assistance is available to families of students in Grades K to 8. Families requesting financial aid are required to submit an application through SmartAid. All applications will be submitted online. All financial aid requests are kept confidential. The SmartAid Application including all supporting documents must be submitted no later than May 1st for consideration of aid in the fall of the same year.
You will be contacted to make an appointment with the pastor as soon as the Smart Tuition Aid recommendation reports have been reviewed in early summer. The amount of aid to be awarded will be based on tuition costs, ability to pay, number of students in school, annual income as well as extraordinary financial circumstances. The amount of the award is always kept confidential among the families, pastor and school’s finance office.
To begin an application for the 2017-2018 school year, go to the SmartAid website at www.smartaidforparents.com. Click on “New User” – “Create Account” from there you will be instructed to provide an email address and a password of your choice. Use school code 11883.
Due to budget constraints we cannot accommodate requests by current school families for financial assistance after the May 1st Deadline. (Unless, of course, some catastrophic event should occur with a current family after that date.) Please submit your application to SMARTAID application as soon as possible, and definitely no later than MAY 1.
