March was very busy, but April, with it’s fewer school days, will be even busier. The environmental concern lessons the children presented to their classmates in March were very well received. After Aspire testing, we will begin the energy report displays that we prepare before Spotlight.
I have been working with Mrs. Blouin on a new cross-curricular unit that she created this year. As part of this unit on Space Exploration, the children will watch the movie, October Sky. It not only looks at the early beginning of our space program, but gives a glimpse of the coal industry in West Virginia in the early 1960s.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter break. May God bless all of you during this holy season.
