Students have been writing equations and solving one step equations and inequalities. We have also been reviewing fractions and decimals with all operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in preparation of the Aspire testing which begins the first week of April. These tests are especially important for sixth graders as next year you will problably start to look at high schools. You can prepare your child for these tests by having them get plenty of rest and eating a good breakfast each day. There will be no homework that week or classroom tests. Practicing IXL math and reviewing any of the sixth grade concepts would also be helpful.
As always, it is a team effort and I appreciate all your support at home. I hope all of you have a blessed and peaceful Easter and enjoy your Spring Break. It is a short month, however, we have a lot to accomplish! Thanks for all that you do!
