The “Rainbows for All Children” program will be offered to students at SJC in grades K through 8. This is a program designed to help children through difficult life experiences such as divorce, death or illness of a family member. “ Rainbows” is a successful program internationally and has been very beneficial to SJC students for over 20 years.
“Rainbows” is a peer support group. St. John of the Cross staff members facilitate in a small group setting. Our staff is trained in dealing with all forms of grief. Through activities, journaling and discussion, students guide each other to solutions from their own life experiences.
We always begin and end our meetings with prayer.
Please note the time and location: Rainbows will meet twice monthly on Monday mornings before school from 8:15 to 8:40 a.m. in the Art Room. A schedule will be shared with parents once students are registered.
