Transitions to Parenthood
Based on Bringing Baby Home, this research-based retreat prepares couples for the transition to parenthood while helping them become the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive envi-ronment parents learn the vital skills necessary to create a positive and nurturing environment for the new-born while strengthening their love and friendship. Nurturing love and friendship became one of the most important factors in predicting whether children thrive or merely survive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who: Couples expecting for the first time or those with a young child. (Babies 6 months and young-er are welcome to attend with parents.)
When: Saturday, November 3rd and 10th (9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)
Cost: $150 per couple
Included: Instruction from Certified Gottman Educator, Bringing Baby Home workbook, one deck of Love Map cards, a light breakfast, snacks and beverages.
