Crossroads offers two types of retreats a year:
Our Frosh/Soph Identity Retreat is lead by Juniors & Sophomores who have attended in the past and want to share a weekend of outdoor winter fun as well as reflection and prayer. You’ll enjoy tubing, a GPS scavenger hunt, basketball, volleyball, and more! We’ll also take some time to talk about the things that matter most to you and your faith. Click here to learn about the Identity Retreat which will take place January 12-14, 2018!
Our Junior/Senior retreat is called Kairos and is offered a total of three times in a given school year. All these retreats are led by Seniors in High School and are hosted by and open to teens of St. Francis, St. Cletus & SJC! The next retreat is March 15-18. Registration will be open in January.
Missing a day of school may seem hard, but we have taken steps to make it easier!
1) FYI: There is an Illinois state law which allows each student to miss one day of school for a religious reason.
2) For five years we had no problem with Lyons Township’s Dean’s office granting an administrative absence for our retreatants. I will provide the Dean’s office with a list of retreat attendees. Parents will need to call you in Friday March 16 morning to state that you are missing school for a religious day. The Dean’s office will set it as an administrative absence after the fact.
3) If you or your parents have any questions, please call Katie.
