Our Crossroads Basketball teams are part of a local Ecumenical League run by a commissioner and coordinated by volunteers. Volunteer coaches, gym monitors and parent drivers for service opportunities ensure a positive athletic opportunity for high school boys. The league is dependent upon parent participation and support. We are in need of adult coaches who have completed a background check and attended Virtus training.
Sunday, November 25 – There is a mandatory player/parent meeting in the school multi-purpose room at 6pm. After the meeting teams will scrimmage and warm up for a great season!
Week of November 26 – Weekly practice begins.
Saturday, December 1 – First game. Games are played on Saturday evenings at local churches
Registration closes on Sunday, October 28 evening or when teams are filled. Team Rosters will be made on a first-come-first served basis, with priority given to St. John of the Cross Parishioners and Crossroads members. If your son if trying out for his high school basketball team, we still encourage him to register for Church League Basketball as our registration will be closed before he finds out if he made his high school team. We do our best to take as many players as we can, but we thank you for understanding that we have to limit the number of players that can play on each team. You will be notified by your coach once rosters have been finalized. If we are not able to place your son on a team, we will refund your registration fee promptly. Please click here once you have read all of the above to continue to the registration page.
