We can always learn more about our faith and grow in our relationship with Christ, and Alpha is no exception.
Don’t worry, there will be points brought out in the videos and small groups that will stretch your faith and help you to know Jesus better. However, another reason is so that you’ll know what Alpha is all about! Then think of that neighbor, colleague, friend who is searching for the meaning to life and you can easily invite them to come, knowing exactly what they will experience. Many times folks are a lot more inclined to come to Alpha (free food!) than to a church event or mass.
Alpha begins on Wed. January 22 with a ‘Come and See Night’ (6:30 p.m.)
You come for a meal, watch a short video, and share your thoughts on the video in small groups. At the end of the small group discussion you will be handed a simple form that asks for your thoughts and if you plan to return.
Alpha will last 10 weeks, held on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30 beginning January 22, 2020, with dinner always included.
Absolutely! Just be sure to register with us (so we have a spot for you and enough food too).
Lots of people come to Alpha without knowing anybody else on the course. By the end of the course, most people become good friends. Alpha is a great way to meet new people, both from the parish and outside the parish!
No! It is completely ok to remain silent. No one is obligated to share and are more than welcome to simply listen to the conversations.
Lots of people face this reality.
Just send us an email or let your small group leader know in advance and we can send you a link to catch up on the video(s) you missed.
