The LRC (Learning Resource Center) is a wonderful place to volunteer! Each class has one forty-minute session per week. Grades 1-4 rotate between stations for reinforced learning instruction and library. Kindergarten comes to the LRC for computer instruction. Fifth and Sixth Graders work on projects that enrich the curriculum. They are also encouraged to use library materials and computers for research.
We are requesting the help of volunteers to assist students in Grades K-4. Volunteers work either a morning or an afternoon session, one to two times per month depending on the number of volunteers for each grade level.
If you are a first time volunteer, there will be a LRC volunteer training session on Thursday, August 23rd @ 2:30 in the LRC. Please come. We look forward to having you join us in this fun and educational learning environment!
