Goal of Club

To implement the Recycling plan created by St. John of the Cross students.  To raise awareness and knowledge of environmental/recycling issues and opportunities.  To involve the students in reducing the St. John of the Cross carbon footprint.

2012-2013 Recycling Club

This has been a great year for the club.  To date we have been talking about various topics, past and present.  We have collected 79 lbs of pop tops for the Ronald McDonald house!  We have also been collecting crayons to donate for people with disabilities.

This year we also created a video explaining the importance of reusing, recycling, and reducing our carbon footprint.  Check it out on the front page!

Parents:  Try your best to pack your child’s lunch with as many re-usable containers as possible.  Encourage re-using/recycling things at home!
