To implement the Recycling plan created by St. John of the Cross students. To raise awareness and knowledge of environmental/recycling issues and opportunities. To involve the students in reducing the St. John of the Cross carbon footprint.

November Recycling Club Newsletter

Welcome to the 2011-2012 Recycling Club!

This looks to be a great year for this club.  To date we have been talking about various topics, past and present.  In the past we have collected crayons and pop-tops, which have been very successful, so we will continue to collect them.  This year we are also going to stress the use of re-usable containers at lunch.

Parents: Try your best to pack your child’s lunch with as many re-usable containers as possible.  Encourage re-using/recycling things at home!

We will have a table in the lobby of school for Parent/Teacher Conferences with information about recycling in general and at SJC as well.  We look forward to seeing you there!
