The organization embraces all women of our parish.

The purpose of the Women’s Club is to further the spiritual, educational, social, financial and family interests of the parish and to cooperate with agencies for community welfare. Through a variety of activities, we strive to meet the needs and interests of the women of our parish. Our common bond is our faith, our need to serve our parish and our desire to strengthen the bonds among all Catholic women.

We welcome you to join us at our board meetings, held the 3rd Thursday of each month. They are open to all parishioners. The Women’s Club offers many different ways to become involved in our parish. By attending a meeting, you will learn of the various volunteer opportunities that are available.

Our yearly dues are $10, which can be paid anytime throughout the year. As a member, you will receive all Women’s Club mailings (calendar, newsletter, etc.). In addition, your dues help off-set the cost of speakers, hospitality and supplies for our many events.

Women’s Club Mission

The mission of the St. John of the Cross Women’s Club is to bring the women of our parish together to foster and celebrate our spiritual and social well-being. Through our fundraisers, retreats, spiritual reflections and social events, we seek to develop a closer relationship with God and one another. This year we look forward to supporting the parish as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of St. John of the Cross Parish.

Every woman of the parish is considered to be a member of the Women’s Club.  We invite you to attend our various functions and seek your assistance in planning and coordinating our events. Please contact any of our Board Members if you are interested, or if you have any questions or suggestions. Our  open board meetings take place in the Parish Center on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from September to May, and begin at 9:15 a.m.
