Listening: Quieting Ourselves to the Presence of God
All are invited to participate in Kolbe House’s sixth Lenten email retreat starting Monday, February 27 and continuing through Monday, April 2.
As there is no scheduled time or place to be, this format easily adjusts to hectic lifestyles while providing a method to deepen our Lenten faith journey. After reading the reflection, choose a suggested way of adopting an awareness of God’s presence in our lives. It’s that simple.
Those who join us will receive an email every Monday during Lent with a reflection prepared by a Kolbe House chaplain or volunteer who ministers to youth detained at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. The theme of this year’s retreat is Listening: Quieting ourselves to the presence of God.
To participate in our Lenten email retreat, simply send an email to Kolberetreat@aol.com.
Your email address will not be shared with anyone else. You will not be asked for any donations in the emails that we will send you. Please feel free to send this email address to whomever you think would be interested in participating in this retreat.
If you prefer, you can also participate in the retreat by visiting the Kolbe House web site at www.kolbehouseministry.org .
God bless,
Fr. Dave Kelly
