I am so pleased by the positive responses we have had to our work tours. The deadline was Monday, but the nice thing is that we do have space on the trips and conferences. Please check out the work tour packet & send in your registration so you can share in the wonderful opportunities to serve others & grow in your faith. Adults are needed as chaperones and post-trip mentors so everyone can check this out!
This past weekend’s Parent Home Group was a great opportunity for adults to gather and share their stories & relationships that help build their faith. I was touched to hear stories and remember my own. Our ministry to teens depends on partnering with Parents and supporting them. We were able to accomplish this Sunday and plan for more in the future.
Recently I have been enjoying reading a book called Sabbath by Walt Mueller because it shares a variety of ways to connect to God and take Sabbath…even beyond Sundays! Finding time in my busy world and life is essential to maintain my balance and an understanding of the goodness of God. I have especially enjoyed the sharing that I’ve been able to do with a friend as we read this book together. We have a sense of accountability and sharing about what we read to make the actions and ideas come to life. I wish everyone the opportunity to grow in faith & understanding of your relationship with God through this kind of friendship.
