Leadership

Teen Leadership of our Youth Ministry

Preparing for our Leadership Teams for the 2012-2013 year has begun! If you are a high school teen who would like to join one of the following teams, please download and turn in your application by May 21st. Read the forms to get details about each role.

Day of The Spirit Retreat Team
Freshmen Experience Team
Frosh/Soph Retreat Team

Teens take a leadership role in our ministry by joining our Crossroads Teen Advisory Group. The group meets once a month in the teen space from 10am-11am on Sunday mornings. Each home group has a representative and we will be forming a board this year. This is a great way for teens to advise the director, take leadership roles of our events, gain leadership training and have fun working with and getting to know teens from different grades & groups. We are open to new members at any time! Our Final meeting of the year, which includes evaluation and discerning roles for next year, will take place Sunday May 20th 6-8pm. Any teens interested in joining us now to prepare for next year please email Katie at khayes@stjohnofthecross.org.

All teens are welcome to join our Advisory group in attending the Teen Leadership Conference that the Joliet Diocese offers June 22-24. Fill out registration with the work tour/conference forms.

Contact Katie at khayes@stjohnofthecross.org for details!
